Indian Olympian Neeraj Chopra is one of the most loved sports personalities in India right now and he is very well known among all sections of society. Bollywood has already made films based on famous sports personalities like Milkha Singh, M.S.Dhoni, Phogat Sisters and other sports personalities and doesn’t be surprised if a Bollywood film is announced in the coming days based on the life of Neer Chopra.
During an Interview, When Neeraj Chopra was asked about his biopic film, He said “Bioipic Unki Banti Hai Jo Retire Ho Jate Hain, Main to Abhi active hi hoon, Meri Biopic ki abhi zaroorat nahi hai. Main abhi aur khelna Chahata hoon aur Desh ka naam upper karna karna chahta hoon” (Biopics are made for those who had retired from the sports, I am still playing and I don’t think my life needs biopic right now. I want to play as much as I can for my country right now.
When the anchor asked which actor should play his role in his biopic if it is ever made. One this question Chopra said “Biopic me language sahi hona bahut zaroori hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki Randeep Hooa mere character ko ache see play kar sakte hain, kyunki wo same Haryana see hi hain”. (Chopra said that Randeep Hooda can play his character well as he belongs to the same region and he can speak with that accent.)

I also personally think that Randeep is a fantastic choice for Neeraj’s biopic, he belongs to the same region, he has great command over Haryanvi and he has a perfect personality too. Hope the makers consider him if the biopic of Neeraj Chopra is ever announced in future. Randeep was last seen in ‘Veer Sawarkar’ which was a decent hit at the box office. The film is now streaming on Zee5.
