Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra crashed on Monday and this was expected as the film didn’t show any decent growth even on Sunday and Saturday. The film crashed on Monday and collected 25 Lakhs. Dhanteras is going to be another low for the film as there is no sign of growth in advance booking and earl trends.
The film is expected to collect around 18 Lakhs If it follows the same speed to advance and spot bookings. The film has collected around 30 Crores overseas and 31.40 Crores in India and the total worldwide collection stands at approx 62 Crores. The film is an economical plus for the makers but it is a big flop at the box office.
The film has two more days before Big films like BB3 and Singham Again will take all the screens for the film on box office. The advance bookings of both the films are now open at BookMyShow and this will also slow down Jigra collections. The film was directed by Vasan Bala and it stars Alia Bhatt and Vedan Raina in the main lead roles.
