After a great start at the box office, Suriya Starrer Kanguva falls flat on the box office and it is almost impossible for the film to get decent numbers from here. The film was bashed by critics and the audience reviews were also mostly negative for the film. The reviews are impacting the film badly and it looks like the film is going to be a disaster.
The film collected only 3.20 Crores approx on the box office on the First Monday and this is almost a 95% decline from the Day 1 numbers. The film was also down on Sunday and the film collected only 10 Crores on Sunday from all versions combined. The film collected around 2.50 Crores in Hindi belts and this number drops down to 65 Lakhs on Monday.
The film is getting lots of buzz on social media due to recent tweets and controversies. A few days back Jyothika posted a note about the hate that the film is receiving. Suriya has yet to say anything about the film’s response at the box office. The film is looking to end its box office run under 70 crores in India as of now.
