After a massive setback at the box office fro Kanguva, Suriya is all set to compensate for the loss to the production house. The film Kanguva was made on a massive budget of 300 Crores and the film failed badly on the box office. The film was promoted by PAN India and the hype and buzz of the film were huge but the reviews of the film were very poor and that’s the reason why the film failed badly at the box office.
The film has hardly collected around 120 Crores at the box office and the makers are still in loss of massive 200 Crores. Now the news is coming that Suriya is planning to compensate for the loss of the production house and he agrees to do another film for the studio green for free. The story and the title of the film are yet to be finalized but the film is expected to be a mid-budget drama film.
A few days back Suriya’s wife Jyothika wrote a note on social media and she slammed the critics and audiences for spreading negativity about the film. Jyothika faced lots of heat after that. Suriya has yet to respond to film failure and the failure of this film is also affecting his upcoming films.
Excel Entertainment film ‘Karna’ budget is also being reduced from 600 Crores and makers have asked the director to reduce the budget of the film after the box office failure of Kanguva.
