Till Sunday, the film has sold around 85k tickets in advance as of now and it looks like it would cross 100k tickets by Monday for sure. As per ear data, the film has collected around 1.85 crores in Advance bookings and the number is going to rise further on Monday and Tuesday. The film has crossed more than 2 Crores worldwide and response to the film is decent as of now.
The film is a war drama film and is said to be inspired by real-life incidents Sivakarthikeyan plays the character of an Army officer and Sai Pallavi plays as lead lady. The film is produced by superstar Kamal Hassan and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The trailer of the film received a decent response on Youtube and buzz of the film is also good enough considering the star power of the film.
The story of the film is based on the life of ‘Mukund Varadarajan’ who served in the Indian Army from 2006-2014 and he martyred in Kashmir on 31st April 2014. War-based films have a great track record at the box office and we hope that the film repeats the same.
