Marathi films are doing really well these days and that’s why the makers are making good films based on subjects and even stories that are based on real-life incidents. Priyanka Chopra also produced a film a few years back based on the real story and it was finally released at the box office after 5 Years.
The film was titled ‘Paani’ and the film bags may records at various events but the box office performance of the film was not up to the mark and the film is struggling to recover even 50% of its budget. The box office numbers for the film are shocking even after the great reviews from the critics.
Week 1 of the film was very low and the film collected approx 28 Lakhs at the box office. The film saw little growth on Saturday and Sunday and collected around 5 Lakhs combined on these two days taking the total collection of the film to 33 Lakhs. The film is now making in Lakhs for the last two days and Mondays and Tuesdays were not up to the mark.

The hopes are almost finished for the film as Singham Again and BB3 are going to take over the box office in the next 2 days. Hope the film turns out to be a super success on OTT.
