Vikrant Massey starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is all set to finish its box office run in the Next 2 Days. The film will be removed from almost all the screens from 5th December 2024 after the arrival of Pushpa 2. The film was in lots of controversies due to its Political debate and finally the film is going to end its box office run. The film has collected approx 31 Crores in India as of now and overseas numbers are approx 2 Crores, the total collection of the film now stands at around 33 crores and in the last 2 days, the film may mint approx 2 crores taking the total collection of the film to 35 Crores.
The film was made on a budget of 30 Crores and the final landing cost of the film including the PR and promotional events was around 35 Crores it looks like the film turned out to be an average film at the box office. The makers made decent money by selling the digital and music rights of the film and overall it was a profitable venture for the producers.
The film was declared tax free in Many states and that also helped the film to add some penny to overall collections. The film was recently watched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a special screening. The film got mixed reviews from the audiences and critics.
Vikrant has announced that he will be taking a short break from the Industry and after this film, he will be seen in 2 more films which will be released in 2025.
