Rajnikant starrer film ‘Vettaiyan’ which released around 2 weeks back on the big screens is now earning under 2 crores during big days and it is just the 15th Day of the film. Surprisingly the film has collected around 142 Crores in total 15 Days and from no angle it looks like a collection of Rajnikanth film.
There we a time when the films of Rajnikant were making 100 Crors opening on day 1 itself but it looks like Vettaiyan didn’t click well. In some of our previous posts, we also mentioned how the poor marketing of the film led to disastrous numbers in the north and the repeated story led to overall rejection.
The film got underwhelming numbers on Day 1 itself and collected only 28 Crores in Tamil belts which is a strong region of Rajnikanth. The film never touched the same figure again and on Sunday the film earned only 19 crores and after that fell flat to 4.40 Crores on Monday.
The film collected around 1.40 Cr on Day 15 and going to collect around 1.10 Crores on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are going to be crucial for a lifetime numbers of the film from here on.
