In the second week of its release, Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video collected around 10 crores at the box office and this was a sharp decline of more than 60% as compared to the previous week. In week 1, the film collected 27 Crores out of which, 15 Crores were from the first 3 days.

After clashing with big films like Jigra, the film stars pretty well but failed to convert the audiences on Monday after the Poor reviews and critics’ rating. The film makes around 75 Lakhs on 2nd Thursday and is going to collect around 50 Lakh as per advance booking data. This will take the total of the film to 38 Crores approx. The film is looking to cross 40 crores by the end of this weekend and by looking at the box office biggie releasing next week, this is going to be the final chance for the film to collect some money.

The film was in the news due to the controversy with Maddock films too. Makers have used the references from the Stree film without obtaining permission from the makers of Stree and Stree 2. Later the scenes were removed from the theatrical prints of the film and the writer of the film also issued an apology from the makers.
